July 4th at the coast
We spent the 4th in Sargent Texas, a cool little fishing town on the coast that's built around the canals which lead to the intercoastal waterway which leads to Matagorda Bay which leads to the gulf. Although it would be a real long boat ride to get from the canal to the gulf it can be done.
