"Let's get out of here, I'm not letting him mount my deer" "What's wrong with it, it looks like a mounted deer?" "That's what's wrong with it" This is the conversation I had with a buddy once when looking for a quality taxidermist. Most folks don't look at a deer mount or any mount for that matter close enough to realize the difference in quality taxidermy work and just a deer mount put out by an untrained guy looking to make a few extra dollars but for those of us that do you need to …

Trinity River Alligator Gar
When some one says alligator gar or gator gar the first place most people think of is the Trinity River in Texas. The Trinity is the number one alligator gar location in the world. Fisherman have known this for a long time but thanks to shows like River Monsters and channels like Animal Planet and Discovery who have all filmed shows on this river now even more people know and a lot of those folks don't even fish. Hopper Poppin

Sure I do eat them and I love the …
July 4th at the coast

Although it would be a real long boat ride to get from the canal to the gulf it can be done. I really liked the fact that any size boat could fish in this area, if you only have a small boat you could stay in the canals and on calm days the bay but a big boat can also get through the canals to the …
