Sometimes you get lucky 

Spring turkey season is here and I have not done my homework and we all know if you don't do your homework you usually fail but sometimes we get lucky and pick all the right answers and pass anyway. This is exactly what happened to us on the opener. I usually know where the birds are roosting, where they are going and where they are coming from but this year I got behind. New Mexico Quail

Well we tried to make a run to New Mexico for some quail, after the amount of birds I seen during antelope season I thought this would be easy, you guessed it I was wrong again. I think if we had some decent weather it would have been fine but snow, ice, sleet, rain, slush, every form of precipitation known to man fell out of the sky at some point and it was cold. I Got the Blues

Since my baby left me, I.........Im kidding it's not that kind of blues, it's not the Double Wide Blues either although if you don't get that reference to the great Todd Snider song you should look it up.
